Our shore power facility, Plug Montrose, at Berths 1 and 2 is now live ⚡🚢As the first port in Scotland to introduce shore power to vessels servicing the energy sector, we're thrilled to partner with on this groundbreaking venture, marking their first collaboration with a UK port! 👏Our decision to invest in this self-funded £1 million shore power initiative highlights our commitment to reducing scope 3 emissions, aligning with our goal of becoming Scotland's greenest port. Great to see this spotlight on Seagreen's O&M base at our Port by Arch Henderson LLPWe're proud to have collaborated with local contractors Pert Bruce Construction Ltd and Harry Maiden Ltd on the project.In repurposing the existing office building for the base, we contributed towards the circular economy, reusing over 54 tonnes of steel and saving 99 tonnes of CO2.See the spotlight here: https://lnkd.in/ekN3i7Ef#Seagreen #windenergy #circulareconomy
